What is the Plant VS Undead game?
Plant VS Undead is an NFT multiplayer tower defense game where players have to come up with a strategic plan to eliminate undead monsters from invading your NFT garden in each wave.
Inspired by the old-school video game Plant VS Zombie, the creators intend to create comparable gameplay using Non-Fungible Token (NFT) on Binance Smart Chain technology, securing all transaction data via blockchain.
They expect that the NFT game, as a spin-off version of well-known gaming, will inspire more attention to the realm of crypto games than other NFT games with complicated concepts.
Throughout the world of Plant VS Undead, there are two types of in-game currencies:
- PVU Tokens
PVU Tokens is officially in-game currency and one of the currencies under Binance Smart Chain. Players can either swap tokens with USD throughout the Pancakeswap platform or exchange them for Light Energy (LE).
The exchange rate is under platform requirement, for example, 1 PVU Tokens = 70 Light Energy. The token can be used in any in-game transactions:
- The token is used as money in the marketplace for trading in-game NFT assets; Plants, and Land Plots for planting trees
- It can be transferred between players on a private chat room
- Lastly, it can be exchanged with USD currency by performing SWAP through the Pancakeswap platform
- Light Energy (LE)
Light Energy (LE) is another Plant VS Undead’s currency and is merely used in the game as a resource.
Unlike PVU Tokens, LE Tokens cannot be exchanged for USD, but players can collect them to exchange for PVU Tokens instead.
As mentioned, players can swap LE Tokens to PVU Tokens by a particular exchange rate determined by the platform’s requirements.
Tokens can be used to obtain a set of tools and equipment for growing your garden in Farming Mode, one of Play-to-Earn approaches in Plant VS Undead.
The items are varied from plant seeds (e.x. Sunflower Mama, Sunflower Sapling), pots, water, and scarecrow. Furthermore, as a reward, gamers can farm and harvest LE Tokens, exchange them for PVU Tokens, and finally exchange them for USD currencies to raise money.
